We're finally back from our Christmas travels! I think we are more exhausted at the end of our vacation than we were at the beginning. Unfortunately our Christmas break was like a a two week sick fest with migraines, 103 temperatures, and wicked bad colds. Charlie got sick on Christmas Eve followed by me and my dad a few days later. My mom managed to stave off the cold until after we left. Brandon is the only one who managed to get out unscathed. The rest of us were lying around pathetically hoping for a cure for the common cold for Christmas.Charlie had his first picture with Santa at a cute little children's shop in Nevada City, Penny Lane. We wished that they would have printed the first picture they had taken of him with Santa because it was such a classic Charlie pose. When we put him in Santa's lap, he looked right up at him with a look that said, "You look like a real shyster." We thought the first picture was hilarious but I don't think the shop owner was as amused. Here are a few pictures of him on Christmas morning:
